The computer department at Pro-Tech Company has a wide array of tools at our disposal to diagnose and fix your computer fast.

We offer three main avenues to service your computer.

  • In-Shop Repair

    Shop Online

    Drop your computer off at our Kirksville, Missouri location and let our technicians take a look at it.

    Our in-shop repair service works on a queue system, therefore we service our customer's machines in the order they are received. Our technicians always keep the customer up to date on the status of their computer.

  • On-Site Repair

    If your home or business is anywhere in the Northeast Missouri or Southeast Iowa areas, our technicians can come to you. Our on-site repair team can fix most of your problems on the spot.

  • Remote Log-In Repair

    Using secure software our technicians can remotely take control of your computer and are able to fix common software issues and bugs.


Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to look at my computer?

Pro-Tech Company charges a $25 diagnostic fee on all machines that we look at.

What happens to my $25 diagnostics fee if you fix my computer?

After the initial diagnostics we present the customer with an estimate on how much it would be to fix their computer. If the customer wants us to repair the computer the $25 diagnostic fee is then applied towards our regular service rates.

How are service rates calculated?

Service rates are calculated by the time the technician is working on the machine. Service charges exclude travel time.

What is remote log-in support?

Remote log-in support is where one of our technicians will remotely take over your computer and fix it. Remote support does require you to have a high-speed internet connection of at least 1.5Mbps.

How secure is remote support?

Our remote support software uses full encryption. Encryption is based on 1024bit RSA private/public key exchange and 256 Bit AES session encoding. This uses the same security level as https/SSL and is considered completely safe by today's standards. The key exchange also guarantees that the data channel is completely encoded from client to client and that any routers or servers in between (including our routers) are unable to read or analyze the data stream.
