I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and was privileged to be raised by parents involved in full-time ministry.

At the age of five, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior.

After graduating from high school in 1986, I went to the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago majoring in Pastoral Studies.

While at Moody, I met my wife and we have been married for 7 years. Presently, my wife Jennifer and I, are the parents of four children, Jessica, Elizabeth, Josiah, and ??.

In 1995, I accepted a youth pastor position in a church located in Northeast Missouri and I pastored there for about a 3 years.

While working with youth I became concerned with several father's lives and how they were impacting their children that I was seeking to minister to. Through prayer and a series of events I realized the Lord was calling me into a ministry with fathers. I am convinced that helping fathers to be more effective will have an even greater impact on the the youth of today.

I then obtained training from the **National Center for Fathering in presenting the "7 Secrets of Effective Fathers" seminar.
